  7. By some peasant gospeller;
  8. Swept the Sawdust from the floor
  9. Of that working-carpenter.
  10. Miracle had its playtime where
  11. In damask clothed and on a seat
  12. Chryselephantine, cedar-boarded,
  13. His majestic Mother sat
  14. Stitching at a purple hoarded
  15. That He might be nobly breeched
  16. In starry towers of Babylon
  17. Noah's freshet never reached.
  18. King Abundance got Him on
  19. Innocence; and Wisdom He.
  20. That cognomen sounded best
  21. Considering what wild infancy
  22. Drove horror from His Mother's breast.
  23.
